About the Highlanders

The Dundee Highlander Wrestling Team is affiliated with the Dundee Township Park District and is a successful organization designed for children from kindergarten through 8th grade.  The wresting team was established in 1957 to provide children in the Dundee area with the opportunity to learn about the sport of wrestling.  Since that time, the Highlanders have taught hundreds of children how to become well rounded athletes, many of which have excelled at the high school level.

Team Goals

The Dundee Highlander Wrestling Team is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting the sport of wrestling within the Dundee Township area by providing quality instruction on the fundamentals of wrestling in a positive environment. We strive to develop in our young wrestlers good character, a strong work ethic, and a sense of good sportsmanship.
