2010 State Tournament

The Dundee Highlanders were able to send seven wrestlers to the State Tournament this year.  The wrestlers were, at the Senior Division, Zachery McCullough, Charley Popp, Timothy Schanmier and Victor Devora; and at the Novice Division, the Highlanders sent  Nathan Romero, Anton Krocko and Sammy Perez.  Sammy Perez was able to win 8th place at 215 pounds while Nathan Romero took 5th place at 115 pounds in the Novice Division.  Congratulations to all of the State Qualifiers for an outstanding job.

• North Sectional State Tournament

  The Dundee Highlanders sent a total of nineteen wrestlers to the North Sectional State Tournament.  The wrestlers were, at the Senior Division Zachary McCullough, Elijah Velez-Kraemer, David Campos, Timothy Schanmier, Charley Popp, Ector Soler, Israel Hernandez, Juan Zambrano, and Victor Devora; at the Novice Division,  Dean Lane, Nathan Romero, Zachary Gathercoal, Anton Krocko, and Sammy Perez; and at the Intermediate Division, Tyler Lane, Justin Iwanski, David Dudych, Ryan Dykes, and Ryan Griggel.  In the Senior Division, Zachery McCullough took 3rd place at 74 pounds, Timothy Schanmier took 3rd place at 122 pounds, Charley Popp took 1st place at 122 pounds while Victor Devora took 3rd place at 156 pounds.  At the Novice Division, Nathan Romero took 2nd place at 115 pounds, Anton Krocko took 1st place at 138 pounds while Sammy Perez took 4th place at 215 pounds. Our Intermediate place finishers were Tyler Lane took 1st place at 70 pounds and Ryan Griggel took 4th place at 122 pounds. Congratulations to all of our Sectional Qualifiers.
• North Regional State Tournament

  The Dundee Highlanders were able to qualify 20 of its 23 wrestlers for the North Sectional State Tournament.  In the process, the Highlanders took 3rd place as a Team in the Senior Division.  Those wrestlers that can advance to the North Sectional Tournament are at the Senior Division Zachary McCullough, Elijah Velez-Kraemer, David Campos, Alex Ramirez, Timothy Schanmier, Charley Popp, Ector Soler, Israel Hernandez, Juan Zambrano, and Victor Devora; at the Novice Division,  Dean Lane, Nathan Romero, Zachary Gathercoal, Anton Krocko, and Sammy Perez; and at the Intermediate Division, Tyler Lane, Justin Iwanski, David Dudych, Ryan Dykes, and Ryan Griggel.  Congratulations to all of our wrestlers at the Regional State Tournament and good luck at Sectionals.
